What you will be doing: Performing duties concerned with the care of the sick and injured, prevention of illness, and promotion of good health.

Essential Duties:

• Render first aid treatment and assist in treating serious accidents or illness.
• Treat minor injuries and illnesses and maintain student health records
• Cleanse and dress wounds, operate emergency equipment and provide follow‑up nursing care as required.
• Prepare and administer specified medications and drugs and assist in developing programs to prevent or control diseases and accidents.
• Monitor students restricted to the infirmary.
• Perform routine tests in accordance with approved standards.

Qualifications: Valid licensed practical nurse license in the state of employment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
